Now it’s time to begin healing. An herbal sitz bath is soothing and healing to your tender parts after birth.

It’s a simple process. Steep your herb pouch in hot water and cover if able. Allow to steep for 20 minutes or longer for maximum potency. Once it’s done steeping, squeeze the remainder of the herb pouch out into the water with clean hands. Pour tea into a shallow sitz bowl that will cover your bottom. A sitz bath is not a deep soak, it is usually only a few inches deep, to target the vagina and perineum area.

Once the tea is at a comfortable temperature, soak your bottom in the sitz bath blend for about 20 minutes. When finished carefully pat yourself dry with a clean towel.

You may add epsoms salts or pink himalayan sea salt to this bath blend as well.

Each pouch is for single use only. There is ample herb in there. Feel free to use half of the liquid to freeze a pad in for a padsicle!
