FAQs

What makes your products “small-batch”?

Everything is made in limited batches by hand here in Vermont. I prepare, strain, bottle, and label each remedy myself to ensure quality, consistency, and freshness. Small-batch also means ingredients are never sitting around — everything is made seasonally and intentionally.

Are your ingredients organic?

Yes. I use high-quality organic herbs, roots, mushrooms, and spices whenever possible. My honey is local and raw, and I source additional ingredients from trusted growers, herbalists, foragers, and artisans within New England.

Where are your products made?

All herbal remedies are hand-blended, brewed, strained, and bottled in small batches in Putney, Vermont.

Curated goods (books, soaps, journals, artisan items) come from other small makers who share the same values: natural materials, quality craft, sustainable sourcing.

Do your products contain preservatives?

No synthetic preservatives are used.
Fire Cider and tinctures rely on raw apple cider vinegar, alcohol, or honey for preservation.
Syrups contain raw honey and a small amount of colloidal silver to extend shelf life naturally.

How long do your products last?

Shelf life varies:

  • Elderberry Syrup: 2–3 months refrigerated

  • Fire Cider: 12+ months unrefrigerated

  • Tinctures: Several years

  • Bath Salts / Body Goods: 12–18 months

Each product page includes storage details.

Do I need to refrigerate anything?

Only syrups (like Elderberry Syrup). Everything else: tinctures, fire cider, bath salts, etc., is shelf-stable.

Are your remedies safe for kids?

Most remedies are gentle, but anything containing raw honey is not safe for children under 1.
If a product is child-friendly, it will be noted in the description.
Always listen to your own intuition and check with your healthcare provider if you’re unsure.

How should I take your herbal remedies?

Each product page includes suggested use, but here are some general ideas:

  • Elderberry Syrup: Straight off the spoon, in tea, with sparkling water, or drizzled on breakfast.

  • Fire Cider: A small shot daily, added to dressings, broths, or warm water.

  • Tinctures: A dropperful under the tongue or added to water/tea.

  • Bath Salts: Add to warm bathwater, soak, breathe, and unwind.

Do your products diagnose or treat medical conditions?

No. Herbal remedies are supportive tools meant to complement wellness, not replace medical care. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Where do you ship?

Currently shipping within the United States.
If you’re international, reach out, I may be able to accommodate depending on the product.

How long does shipping take?

Orders usually ship within 3–5 business days.
During seasonal launches or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer due to small-batch production.

What’s your return policy?

Due to the nature of consumable goods, returns aren’t accepted.
However, if something arrives damaged or if you’re unsatisfied with your order, email me and I’ll make it right. Customer care matters to me deeply.

Do you offer local pickup?

If you're in the Southern Vermont/New Hampshire area, yes, contact me and we can arrange a pickup time.

What other types of goods do you carry besides herbal remedies?

I curate a rotating collection of items that support slower, more intentional living, including:

  • Herbal books

  • Journals

  • Handcrafted soaps

  • Seasonal goods

  • Artisan-made home and body items

  • Nature-inspired essentials

Each item is chosen for its quality, usefulness, and integrity.

Can I request a custom blend or bulk order?

Depending on my current batch schedule, I may be able to make a custom formula or offer bulk Elderberry or Fire Cider. Reach out, I’m always happy to discuss.
